A look at how personalized sessions with network schools are helping Cialfo connect more students with their right-fit universities across the world.
Much of what we do here at Cialfo is focused on helping high school students “find their best future.” As they near the end of their high school years, students often find themselves overwhelmed with choices, unsure of which direction to follow next.
Cialfo works to ease the transition from high school to university by opening doors to countless university options while guiding students through their journey to find the right fit for their goals and interests. Part of this process involves hosting Career Guidance and College Application Days to work directly with students at our many partner schools.
College Application Days are a distinct type of in-person or virtual event organized by Cialfo together with interested Cialfo network schools. During these personalized sessions, students at participating high schools learn about possible courses of undergraduate study, discover scholarship opportunities, and apply to universities with guidance from their counselors as well as Cialfo’s Student Education Advisors.
Cialfo recently hosted several successful College Application Days for high school students in India during the months of March, April, and May. More than 1200 students across four major cities (Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore) took part in these events.
Participating students and their counselors were able to meet with representatives from prestigious universities from across India including Shiv Nadar University, Amity University, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. We supported students in applying to higher education institutions not only in India, but also around the world in the United States, Canada, UK, Europe, Dubai, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New Zealand. In total, we helped students from our partner high schools apply to 117 universities worldwide.
These one-on-one meetings gave qualified students the opportunity to compare the diverse program offerings of the participating universities, learn more about what makes each university unique, and have their personal questions answered directly by university representatives.
These events fueled the connections between prospective students and competitive universities spanning the country. With the information and answers offered by university representatives, the students were able to hone in on the universities featuring programs of study, scholarships, and geographical locations that were of most interest to them.
As a result, these 4 College Application Days alone resulted in a considerable 2129 applications generated during the events held in March-May! We are thrilled to have helped connect our partner high schools and their students with all of the universities who took part and wish all of the applicants the best of luck as they continue to pursue their right-fit future.
