FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DENVER, JUN 03, 2022 — EdTech company Cialfo has successfully wrapped its inaugural attendance at this year's NAFSA Conference. NAFSA is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted to international education and exchange, serving over 10,000 members in more than 150 countries. Cialfo made a strong debut at the event, including a happy hour co-hosted with the PIE and thought leadership from Tim Munnerlyn, Senior Director of Education Partnerships at Cialfo, who chaired a discussion entitled International Student Mobility Amid the Pandemic, joined by Natasha Bijelich, Assistant Director of International Student Recruitment at the University of Toronto, Ciara Newby, Head of Undergraduate International Recruitment at the University of Bath, and Panetha Ott, Director of Admission and International Recruitment at Brown University.
Felicja Syska, Vice President University Engagement at Cialfo, said "Sharing insights on international student mobility alongside Bath, Brown, and Toronto - leading institutions from the most popular markets for international students on Cialfo’s platform (the US, UK and Canada) - at our first, in-person NAFSA is something we're really proud of. Learning from these global admissions directors during our session, and from peers and professionals across higher education is what conferences like NAFSA are all about. It’s exciting to focus on ‘Building Our Sustainable Future’ together and to imagine what else is possible for educators and students worldwide.”
- The US market is hugely important for Cialfo, with America as the most sought-after destination amongst the 310,000 students on its platform, accounting for over 80% of applicants.
- A study by the Institute of International Education indicates that the mid-pandemic figures for international enrollment in American universities are expected to rise as restrictions are lifted.
- The EdTech industry as a whole is also expected to experience a significant boom, as demand for global educational technology solutions continues to grow.
- The EdTech Market - Global Outlook & Forecast Report, shows that the segment was valued at US$254.80 billion in 2021 and will likely reach US$605.40 billion by 2027.
